Report for workshop/innovation activities 1

In order to develop the innovation activities in a targeted manner, firstly a two-dayworkshop with a comprehensive project program was set up. This workshop was held as partof work package 4 ‘Workshop/ Innovation Activities’. The event was held on 12th and 13thSeptember 2024 in Linz by the work package leader Wood K plus. The partners and membersof the ‘Bio-Acouis’ project as well as privately interests parties and state funding bodies wereinvited. The purpose of this workshop was to present and discuss the results of the scientificwork in a public auditorium. The speakers included partners of ‘Bio-Acouis’ as well asscientific staff from Wood K plus. In addition to the presentations, group discussions were alsoheld on three flipcharts on topics relevant to ‘Bio-Acouis’. The workshop concluded with a tourof the technical centre and a discussion on the future of bio-based materials. At the end ofsessions 1 and 2, an initial statement for the continuation of the innovation activities wasdiscussed.
