THE INFLUENCE OF RESEARCH FORMATS IN SMALL GROUPS ON THE ABILITY OF 8TH GRADE STUDENTS TO FIND OPTIMAL SOLUTIONS
Modern education emphasizes the development of critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to find optimal solutions. This study explored the impact of free discussion, step-by-step analysis, and brainstorming on eighth graders' problem-solving skills. Each format has its strengths and limitations: free discussion fosters creativity but can become chaotic; step-by-step analysis organizes the process but reduces flexibility; brainstorming generates diverse ideas but requires careful filtering. Proposed solutions include role distribution, time management, and reflection.
