SolarTherm-CarbCap: A Hybrid CO₂ Capture System with Regenerative Optimization
The SolarTherm-CarbCap framework introduces a next-generation, low-cost, hybrid nanomaterial for scalable CO₂ removal. Integrating MOF-Zeolite co-crystals, reduced graphene oxide, cellulose microfibers, and a solar-activated dye system, this composite achieves a 76.8% absorption improvement, 98.9% regeneration time reduction, and 65,578 cycle durability, validated through FEM and dielectric permittivity simulations. This framework reduces the cost of commercial-scale CO₂ capture to $60.98/kg, offering a scalable, rapid-deployment solution for global climate infrastructure.
