ENGAGING LANGUAGE LEARNING THROUGH VISUAL AND REFLECTIVE INTERPRETATION
Teaching a foreign language involves learning how to use the language and engaging in conversation. Students must practice and gain expertise to utilize the language both inside and outside the classroom effectively. However, many students face challenges for various reasons, such as a lack of interaction during the learning process, tasks emphasizing knowledge acquisition over language proficiency, an imbalance between receptive and productive skills, and personal factors. Consequently, they may struggle to communicate effectively. The Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method provides a promising solution by emphasizing interaction, authentic materials, and integrating receptive and productive skills. This approach bridges classroom learning with real-world application, enhancing students' and educators' overall learning experience.
