However many women are not often treated equally with respect in today's society. Many women with courage and faith have accomplished astonishing feats in Indian history. What they started in the past has helped the present day women to gain their hold in various fields. The Tamil saying says that women have a nurturing nature inborn within them. Women are achieving par excellence with men. Today, women tread from the house to the space. A situation where ‘no man is equal to a woman’ may soon come rather than ‘a woman equal to a man’. In reality, rather than a calm and meek woman, brave and intelligent women are prominent in the top ranks of success. Only when a woman is hopeful to go outside the vast world can make her personal life successful. It is not an exaggeration to say that her self-respect is not only for herself but also for her future generations.
