New application and Effect of (IoT ) Internet of Things on Libraries

Abstract Internet of things (IoT) is the ubiquitous technology in the present scenario. The possibility of connecting various objects in the library with human–human, thing–human, thing–thing without human interference is possible through these embedded technologies. An attempt has been made to explain what is ‘Internet of Things’, the technology and its growth, examples from service industries and deliberate on it’s possible impact on libraries and identify potential library areas where it can be implemented effectively.
