Evidence for Photon Resistance in Expanding Space-Time
In this paper, we introduce the concept of Space-Time Resistance (STR) as a potential explanation for cosmic redshift, challenging the conventional understanding of redshift as solely a result of space-time expansion. We hypothesize that photons experience resistance due to their interaction with expanding space-time, leading to energy dissipation that mimics redshift. By deriving a mass-like term for photons and predicting experimental tests—such as deviations in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) and anomalies in high-energy photon behavior—we propose that STR could offer new insights into dark energy and the nature of space-time. This work opens the door to experimental validations that could test the presence of STR effects and enhance our understanding of fundamental physics.
