பறநனறறப படலகளல நலவயல வரபட உரவககம
Each Sangam song is a map of the land. Later, Europeans created maps to travel by sea and find lands. As a follow-up effort, they created accurate geographical maps in their colonial countries through the land surveying system. However, Tamil poets have plotted each song they composed as a geographical map even two thousand years ago. With the help of those literary geographical maps, we can travel in that land even today. In this way, this article studies the creation of a geographical map of the Tamil region as featured in the Purananuru songs.
