The prophetic mandate is an important but frequently disregarded feature of Christian service, particularly among Anglican priests. This study looks at how the prophetic office is integrated within the Anglican clergy in Nigeria's Ibadan South Diocese. The study investigates the theological roots of prophecy in both the Old and New Testaments and assesses its function in modern church leadership. The study also looks into how Anglican priests in the Ibadan South Diocese embrace and carry out prophetic functions as social justice advocacy, spiritual discernment, and pastoral assistance. The study evaluates the problems and prospects for reclaiming the prophetic mandate within Anglican ministry using qualitative research methodologies such as interviews and case studies. The findings indicate a contradiction between established church structures and the dynamic nature of prophetic service, emphasizing the importance of theological education, spiritual renewal, and institutional support. The study recommends that a balanced integration of the prophetic office within the Anglican clergy will strengthen the church's mission, increase spiritual participation, and promote societal development in Nigeria.
