Examining Students' Mathematical Mastery through Localized Math Tutorials (LMT) On Integer Operations
This study, "Examining Students' Mathematical Mastery through Localized Math Tutorials (LMT) on Integer Operations," explores how bilingual (English and Visayan) video tutorials affect students' understanding of operations of integers. Using a quasi-experimental design, the research compared the pretest, post-test, and retention test scores of students using LMT against those receiving conventional instruction. Results showed that students using LMT scored higher in post-tests and retention tests, indicating better mastery and long-term retention of integer operations. These findings highlight the effectiveness of localized instructional materials in overcoming language barriers and enhancing engagement and comprehension in mathematics
