Optimized Software-Only Implementation of CRYSTALS-Kyber for Post-Quantum Cryptography
The rise of quantum computing threatens tradi- tional encryption methods making it essential to develop post- quantum cryptography (PQC) to protect digital communications. CRYSTALS-Kyber stands out among the PQC algorithms stan- dardized by NIST chosen as the primary Key Encapsulation Mechanism (KEM) because it offers robust security with com- putational efficiency. While the majority of the Kyber imple- mentations focus on hardware acceleration like FPGA, RISC-V or low-level languages like C, C++ but high-level, web-friendly versions still need to be explored for real world applications.
