Cybersecurity in Global Supply Chains: Risks, Regulations, and Emerging Technologies
This working paper was developed as part of a graduate-level project at the University of Southern Indiana (Romain College of Business). It examines the rising importance of cybersecurity in global supply chains, analyzing industry-specific threats, regulatory impacts, and the systemic consequences of cyberattacks such as the SolarWinds incident. The paper also explores how emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain are reshaping both the risks and defenses in supply chain management, and emphasizes the importance of a strong cybersecurity culture throughout the ecosystem.
