«PRICE» LIST OF THE OWNERLESS PROPERTY OF A SIBERIAN MERCHANT OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XVII-th CENTURY (FROM THE HISTORY OF RUSSIAN MATERIAL CULTURE)
The «price» list of the property of the merchant Andrei Ivanov son of Baldakov from 1675 is published with the aim of introducing into scientific circulation previously unknown data on the material culture of the Russian people of the late XVII-th century. The merchant died in Yakutia. The «price» list is a list of goods with their valuation, intended for the sale of ownerless goods in favor of the treasury. The goods were assessed by persons trading at the Yakutsk Gostiny Dvor. Baldakov had no heirs, and therefore the proceeds from the sale of his things and the rights of claim under the bonds were transferred to the state. Baldakov's goods listed in the «price» list of April 30, 1675 can be divided into the following main groups: icons and jewelry; furs; a significant amount of clothing and footwear; various tools, fishing tools; firearms and bladed weapons; dishes; products made of «fish» (walrus) and mammoth bone; books.
