Why we use Wikibase at the German National Library

The presentation shows how Wikibase is used as a backend database for the documentation of the Gemeinsame Normdatei (GND), or Integrated Authority File. It explains our motivation and gains, the challenges and what we expect from further improvements of Wikibase as a software stack.
