Human Computer Interaction

This paper aims to give an overview of the topic of human-computer interaction (HCI), which essentially deals with the idea that people can interact with computers. However, since computers are unable to comprehend our emotions or feelings, we must tell them how to respond in various scenarios, and we employ a variety of strategies to help the computer comprehend these scenarios. These various methods are based on ideas that are intended to meet our expectations for human-computer interaction. Furthermore, HCI can be defined as the field of study that solely uses methods, ideas, and strategies to create an intuitive interface between humans and computers. HCI is essential to our everyday life since we are all surrounded by several gadgets that facilitate our work. As a result, HCI is the culmination of continuous testing and enhancement of interface designs that could affect users' context of use. Human-computer interaction literature is evaluated in this study, and the technological side of human-computer interaction using digital devices is also examined. All of these issues are taken into consideration when analyzing and suggesting design guidelines for high-quality digital gadgets that interact with humans. The efficiency and processing power of digital devices have continuously increased as a result of advancements in both hardware and software. But a lot of these systems are also growing bigger and more intricate. The field of HCI has expanded to encompass the cognitive, social, and organizational facets of computer use as computers have become more commonplace in homes and workplaces. HCI can offer methods for modeling organizations. human interactions with computers, software design principles, techniques for evaluating computer systems' usability, and approaches to researching the impact of implementing new technology into The history of HCI, computer-mediated communication, computer interaction, computer-use psychology, computer system design and evaluation, and the social and organizational elements of computer use are all covered in this chapter.
