Acanthoscelides angustior (Pic, 1942). Combination confirmed. Bruchidius angustior Pic, 1942: p. 10. From label: “Brasilien / Nova Teutonia / Fritz Plaumann” [Brazil]. Syntype males and females deposited in the MNHN. There is a male specimen with a “ Lectotype ” label and two females with “ Paralectotype ” labels all affixed by Kingsolver. But this was never published, so these remain syntypes.
