Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/scan hash://md5/c01a446f655da7014e77cc53d5a359bf
Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/scan, has fingerprint hash://md5/c01a446f655da7014e77cc53d5a359bf, is 351MiB in size and contains 355,796 interactions with 10 unique types of associations (e.g., interactsWith) between 20,579 primary taxa (e.g., Arthropoda) and 39,667 associated taxa (e.g., ex. rotten banana-brown sugar BAIT). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
