Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/calvalheiro2023 hash://md5/e4e32ae8b6c7a8ee46515f835daf8dc4

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/calvalheiro2023, has fingerprint hash://md5/e4e32ae8b6c7a8ee46515f835daf8dc4, is 1.66MiB in size and contains 685 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., flowersVisitedBy) between 63 primary taxa (e.g., Scabiosa columbaria) and 171 associated taxa (e.g., Bombus pascuorum). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
