Parasynapta Panelius 1965

Genus Parasynapta Panelius, 1965 This genus contains two possibly identical species (Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2013), the Nearctic P. canadensis (Felt, 1908) and the Palearctic P. intermedia Panelius, 1965. The first-time German record of P. intermedia detailed below extends the Palearctic range of Parasynapta from northern Europe to the central parts of the continent.
