CHALLENGES IN THE INTERNATIONAL ENGAGEMENT OF YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS IN ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Youth organizations play a crucial role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering innovation, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives. However, their participation in the international arena faces several challenges, including limited access to funding, institutional barriers, and insufficient policy support. This paper explores the difficulties faced by youth organizations in advancing SDGs globally, using a systematic review of literature and case studies. It identifies key structural and operational obstacles and provides recommendations to enhance their impact. The findings suggest that strengthening institutional frameworks, promoting international partnerships, and increasing financial support can improve the effectiveness of youth-led initiatives in sustainable development. Statistical data indicate that only 25% of youth-led organizations receive consistent funding, and over 60% struggle with bureaucratic obstacles when engaging internationally.
