Designing A Vector-Based Mockup for Perimeter Determination of UiTM Shah Alam

Accurate perimeter calculation is vital in various fields such as urban planning, environmental studies, and architecture. Traditional methods for calculating perimeters, particularly for irregular shapes, are often cumbersome and prone to human error. This paper introduces GeoBound, a software tool developed to automate the perimeter calculation of UiTM Shah Alam based on user-provided coordinate points. Using the Euclidean Distance Formula, GeoBound calculates the distances between consecutive coordinates and aggregates them to determine the total perimeter. The tool streamlines the process, offering a fast and reliable method for calculating perimeters, reducing the risk of errors inherent in manual calculations. GeoBound provides a practical solution for professionals and students, making perimeter analysis more efficient and accessible.
