Studies on Mathematics Education, Technology Integration, and Educational Leadership
This collection of studies explores various facets of education, with a strong emphasis on mathematics education, technology integration, and educational leadership. Several studies focus on mathematics education, examining digital literacy among teachers, the conceptual knowledge and error analysis of pre-service teachers, the impact of parental involvement on homework completion, and the factors influencing algebraic equation-solving abilities. These studies also investigate the challenges and strategies of future math educators and the experiences of pre-service teachers using math applications. The role of technology in education is a recurring theme, with investigations into digital literacy, blended learning in higher education, and the use of math applications. Additionally, the research examines educational leadership, specifically the leadership behavior and community relation practices of school administrators. One study also explores career paths and challenges faced by criminology students. Overall, this body of work contributes to a deeper understanding of effective teaching strategies, the integration of technology in educational settings, and the importance of leadership and community engagement in fostering positive learning environments. Digital Literacy of Mathematics Teachers in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) In the rapidly evolving digital landscape of the 21st century, mathematics educators must integrate technology to enhance teaching effectiveness and global competitiveness. This study examines the digital literacy of mathematics teachers in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), employing a descriptive research design with a survey questionnaire and universal sampling. Findings reveal limited digital resources, resulting in infrequent use of educational software, social media, and mathematics applications. Despite these constraints, teachers exhibit a high awareness of their digital proficiency. Institutional factors, such as the availability of learning management systems and computer laboratories, significantly influence the adoption of digital tools. Strengthening digital infrastructure within SUCs can foster greater technology integration, enhance instructional effectiveness, and elevate mathematics education in the digital era.
