ANTICIPATING SOYBEAN SEED SPROUTING USING FUZZY MODELING TECHNIQUES
Abstract Soybean, scientifically known as Glycine Max, has emerged as a highly beneficial crop for Indian farmers, demonstrating advantages not only for agricultural producers but also for business ventures and entrepreneurial endeavors. With its significant oil and protein content, comprising approximately twenty percent oil and forty percent protein, soybean holds promise in combating malnutrition issues prevalent in many regions. Factors influencing the germination rate of soybean seeds, including ambient temperature, humidity, air quality, light exposure, and soil conditions, are crucial determinants in successful cultivation. Recognizing the importance of optimizing these factors, this research introduces a novel approach utilizing a fuzzy expert model to enhance the germination rate of soybean seeds. By leveraging fuzzy modeling techniques, this method aims to provide a comprehensive framework for improving germination outcomes, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of soybean cultivation practices. Through the application of innovative methodologies such as fuzzy modeling, the study seeks to address key challenges in soybean cultivation, ultimately fostering sustainable agricultural practices and contributing to food security initiatives in India and beyond.
