Ekologiczna perspektywa Nowego Testamentu - w kierunku interpretacji integralnej

This dissertation examines selected passages from the New Testament through the lens of integral ecology. It seeks to answer the question of whether these texts contain a message about care for the natural environment. The work contributes to the development of biblical ecotheology, proposing a novel approach to interpreting Scripture. This type of reading enriches the so-called neo-orthodox approach with an integral perspective. The dissertation outlines the foundational principles of integral ecology, which serve as the basis for the analysis. It also discusses methods of biblical interpretation that allow for the identification of a message about care for the natural environment in the New Testament. The fundamental assumption is that biblical writings, although produced in a different historical and cultural context, can be read in light of contemporary ecological awareness, thereby providing valuable insights and perspectives on our relationship with nature. The analysis of selected New Testament texts through the lens of integral ecology demonstrates that these passages contain a significant call for stewardship of the natural environment. The conclusions of the work suggest that the New Testament message aligns with the principles of integral ecology.
