REACHING THE PRIMARY BENEFIT FROM SYMPTOMS OF TENSION HEADACHES
In general, the concept of coping is used in psychology to describe the characteristic ways of people's behavior in various difficult life and professional situations. The ultimate goal of this behavior and at the same time the criterion of its effectiveness can be considered to be the reduction of the stressful influence of the situation, that is, overcoming it and reaching a normal level of functioning. Coping behavior is carried out with the help of coping strategies. The choice of such strategies is influenced by various factors: age, as well as gender characteristics. People in the modern world live in stressful conditions, so the analysis of problems related to the resolution of complex stressful situations is especially relevant. The ability to overcome stressful situations is the key to people's mental health and a prerequisite for social stability, predictability of processes occurring in society. It should be noted that in our time, despite attempts to prevent and cure various diseases, malignant tumors continue to spread rapidly among people. From a medical point of view, they represent a chronically progressive somatic pathology, which is accompanied by a systemic pathogenic effect on the body. At the psychological level, establishing one of these diagnoses causes a disturbance in the patient's mental state, which is accompanied by stress. Therefore, along with the continuous search for methods of treating these diseases, the search for ways to adapt and the ability to psychologically cope with the disease remains an equally important task. For this purpose, all sorts of psychological strategies are being developed to overcome a person's stressful state and increase his or her life expectancy. Domestic and foreign authors have come to the same conclusion that unsuccessful adaptation can lead a person to various neurotic disorders, which will exert additional stress pressure and significantly reduce both the result of drug treatment in particular and the quality of life in general. A person's psychological resources, his unconscious (psychological defenses) and conscious (coping strategies) ways of coping with what is happening, become the most important condition for his psychological adaptation.
