SPECIES CHARACTERISATION. — Small, relatively broad turriform shell. Protoconch absent. Last 4.5 teleoconch whorls preserved, whorls rather flat-sided, first two whorls surface abraded, last two whorls with very broad opisthocline ribs separated by narrow interspaces. Pyriform aperture angled at top of straight columella. Subobsolete columellar fold. DISTRIBUTION. — Lower Pleistocene: Atlantic, Selsoif, NW France (this paper). REMARKS The species from Selsoif has a similar outline to that of Turbonilla pumila G. Seguenza, 1876, but with broader ribs and flatter whorls but further identification is not possible.
