Abstract: A quantum circular system with frequencies was previously proposed as a general unit within each cell in which frequency increase (jump) may lead to cancer initiation. Here I extend the system to include interactions which is a basic mechanism for the unit to change direction (turn), with a special case named as “cellular entanglement”. Simulation experiments show that either jump or turn could inhibit each other under normal development while accumulates for cancer cells. A formal “jump-and-turn” hypothesis is proposed for cancer development that could be supported by empirical data. These results have broad applications in multiple disciplines including understandings of neurogenesis, new strategies and biomarkers for metastatic cancer treatments.
