TRANSITION STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT AND THE PERFORMANCE OF DYNASTY BUSINESS: A STUDY OF SELECTED SMES IN KOGI STATE, NIGERIA

Effective transition strategy development is crucial for organizations undergoing significant changes in acquisitionsor leadership transitions. This study investigated transition strategy development and the performance of dynasty business: A study of selected SMEs in Kogi state. The study adopted survey research design. The targeted population for the study consists of the entire registered small and medium scale enterprises in Kogi State with the total number of nine hundred and thirty eight thousand ,seven hundred and forty [938740] (SMEDAN, 2020). TheseSMEs are spread across the three senatorial districts of Kogi state.
