FEATURES OF MOTION VERBS IN RUSSIAN: DEGREE OF STUDY AND СCLASSIFICATIONS
This article examines the features of motion verbs in the Russian language, exploring the degree of their study, existing classifications, and new theoretical approaches. Motion verbs play a crucial role in Russian speech, expressing not only physical movement but also metaphorical meanings, which makes them significantly challenging for foreign students to master. Special attention is given to the classification of unidirectional and multidirectional verbs, as well as to prefix and suffix forms that modify their meanings. The analysis of modern teaching methods, including cognitive and intercultural approaches, highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach in education, which enables students to gain a deeper understanding and accurate use of motion verbs.
