Risk prediction and causal methods in a multi-morbidity context

This talk was presented as part of the conference titled ‘Pioneering AI in Multiple Long-Term Conditions: Bridging Research and Practice,’ held on 9-10 September and organised by AIM RSF. The conference provided an opportunity for the AI and multiple long-term conditions (MLTC) community to come together, including AIM researchers, data scientists, clinical practitioners, and individuals with lived experience of MLTC. Attendees were able to build relationships, share their work, and enhance their skills. It also served as a platform to celebrate the progress across the AIM Programme and the broader landscape, while identifying opportunities for collaboration. Such collaboration is essential to advancing cutting-edge research in one of healthcare’s most pressing challenges: the study of multiple long-term conditions
