Water and Sanitation: International Perspectives Global Shared Learning Classroom

Tecnologico de Monterrey, in collaboration with water@leeds ran a Global Classroom module on: Clean Water and Sanitation The Global Classroom programme provided PGRs from Leeds University the opportunity to collaborate in a hybrid setting with Civil Engineering undergraduate students (6th semester), from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara in Mexico. Programme Objectives The Global Shared Learning Classroom aims 'to promote global learning by exposing the student to real problems in an international context, allowing the development of skills, fostering diversity, inclusion, and appreciation of other cultures and their own.' We encourage you to watch the video for a more information on the Global Shared Learning programme's objectives. Learning objectives By the end of the programme students will be able to: Understand cultural differences between Mexico and UK Contrast educational programmes between the Mexico and UK Analyse differences in water and sanitation management. Develop collaboratively writing and presentation by creating a presentation on water and sanitation challenges. Lead Instructors: Dr. Misael Sebastián Gradilla Hernandez and Dr. Osiris Díaz Torres, from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and Gabriela Lopez-Gonzalez, water@leeds coordinator will guide the sessions.
