GENERAL PATTERNS OF INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT: FROM ZYGOTE TO ADULTHOOD
Individual development, or ontogenesis, is an amazing process of transformation of an organism from a single cell - a zygote - to an adult state. This article examines the main patterns of ontogenesis that are characteristic of all living beings, including humans. We analyze the stages of ontogenesis, from embryonic development to aging, describing key processes such as growth, cell differentiation, morphogenesis, and maturation. The article emphasizes the relationship between the genetic program and the influence of the environment on individual development.
