Re-imagining Society: Sustainable Development and Social Transformation Using AI and ML in Shaping the Future of Legal Profession
Abstract: Research has always been a part of life. Research, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and law reveal a complex and multifaceted field. In the legal profession, it is part of everyday life as people expect both advocates and judges to be “Jack of all trades” where they know something about everything and everything about the law. AI and ML play a vital role in helping any person from a layman to a lawman not only to know about the law but to go in-depth in the field of law. SDG 16, SDG 5, and SDG 10 are connected to the law which are interconnected to SDG 9, SDG 4, SDG 8, and SDG 17. This research paper discusses in detail the potential ways forward by embracing innovation and technology by fostering sustainability to create an interdisciplinary collaboration using innovation, and knowledge translation and how AI and ML are important in shaping the future of the legal profession by rethinking the legal framework and promoting access to justice. The process of educating and empowering citizens to promote efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in the justice system.
