INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

This article SIms to examine the changes and development of intellectual property rights in the digital economy, the latest reforms implemented in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in this area, and the existing opportunities and challenges by comparing them with foreign experience. The article reveals the difficulties encountered in ensuring the legal protection of these assets at a time when digital technologies and new forms of intellectual property are developing. New laws and resolutions adopted in Uzbekistan to adapt intellectual property to the digital economy, as well as measures to be implemented based on international experience, are also analyzed.
