Tumeochrysa (Tumeochrysa) minina Wu & Liu, 2024, sp. nov.

[38] Tumeochrysa (Tumeochrysa) minina sp. nov. (Figs 43, 86) Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the presence of the relatively small body, the scape with reddish stripe on the outer side, the quadrate cell im of forewing, and the short wide projections on median arch of male gonarcus. Description. Male. Body length 13.1 mm, forewing length 16.5 mm, hindwing length 14.9 mm. Head broad, vertex with reddish triangular markings. Compound eyes prominent and black. Antennae yellow, scape long, with reddish stripes on outer side. Frons, clypeus and gena without spots. Maxillary and labial palpi brownish yellow. Thorax with short black setae, with reddish stripe near middle and irregular brown markings on lateral side. Legs with dense setae and without spots. Pretarsal claws brown, with basal dilation. Forewing without shadings, gradate series brown. Pterostigma indistinct. Costal area with 28 crossveins; 18 radial crossveins present. m1 smaller than m2; im quadrate; 14 psm-psc crossveins present. c1 smaller than c2, dcc closed. A1 forked, A2 and A3 simple. Gradates in four divergent rows, inner gradate series extended basally parallel to Psm. Hindwing without shadings. Pterostigma indistinct. Costal area with 23 crossveins; 19 radial crossveins and 13 psm-psc crossveins present. Gradates in three divergent rows, basal crossvein of inner gradate series not meeting Psm. Abdomen with dense setae. Tergum VII and sternum VII subquadrate in lateral view; tergum VIII and sternum VIII about half length of tergum VII; sternum IX elongated; tergum IX fused with ectoproct. Callus cerci ovoid. Gonarcus arcuate, median arch with short and wide projections, lateral arms expanded; entoprocessus broad; arcessus obviously curved and widest at base. Material. Holotype ♂, China, Xizang, Mêdog, 80K, 2115 m, 2020.VIII.20, Yuchen Zheng (CAU). Etymology. The specific epithet ‘ minina ’ refers to small body size and short projections on median arch of male gonarcus in the new species. Distribution. China (Xizang). Remarks. This species is obviously smaller than other species of Tumeochrysa and can be readily distinguished from them by its quadrate cell im of forewing and the short wide projections on the median arch of male gonarcus.
