make-a-thek Project Handbook

This Project Handbook outlines the internal procedures of the make-a-thek consortium, focusing on management structures, communication and collaboration practices, and quality control measures. It also defines the consortium’s approach to Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), with particular attention to ethical considerations around personal data collection, analysis, and storage. These topics will be further detailed in the Data Management Plan (DMP) to be delivered in Month 6. Key pillars of the consortium’s RRI strategy—open source and open access—are embedded throughout the project and reflected in both this handbook and the DMP. The primary audience for this document is the project’s consortium partners, as it serves as an internal reference to support high-quality, coordinated research across a diverse set of institutions. It is also intended as a practical guide for any new team members joining the project at a later stage.
