Psychological Status and Balance among Pregnant Women: A Comparison between Natural Pregnancy and in Vitro Fertilization- Short Communication

Pregnancy brings significant physiological and psychological changes, impacting maternal well-being and fetal development. In vitro fertilization (IVF) mothers often experience greater emotional satisfaction but may face higher risks of social isolation and medical complications. Peripartum depression and anxiety affect many women, influencing maternal-infant bonding. Physiological changes, including weight gain and reduced stability, increase fall risks. Psychological support and tailored interventions, such as group exercises and balance training, are essential for maternal health. Further research is needed to enhance non-pharmacological treatments for mental and physical well-being during pregnancy.
