ANALYZING THE LONG-TERM IMPACT OF REMOTE WORK ON ORGANIZATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE: EXPLORING KEY TECHNOLOGIES AND MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
The research explores the long-term impact of remote work on business productivity, particularly post-COVID-19. With remote work adoption rising from 17% in 2019 to 44% in 2020, organizations saw a 30% productivity increase between 2019 and 2024, driven by reduced commute times and flexibility. However, challenges like work-life balance issues affected 70% of remote employees, contributing to a 15% productivity decrease. The study used mixed methods, including surveys and employee interviews across sectors like IT and healthcare, to assess performance metrics and the role of digital tools. Results indicate that while remote work enhances individual productivity, collaboration remains more effective in on-site environments. Conclusion: Successful remote work implementation relies on advanced technology and structured management practices.
