Influence of pre-existing defects on corrosion performance of Cr coatings - flash talk

Two slide flash talk on the poster "Influence of pre-existing defects on corrosion performance of Cr coatings" previously uploaded to zenodo. Samples are Cr coated Optimized ZirloTM cladding tubes Samples consisted of a cold spray (CS) coating and three different magentron sputtered physical vapour deposited (MS-PVD) coatings. Samples were precracked through axial tension to 2% strain followed by time in Autoclave in standard water followed by deuterated water. Samples were cross sectioned down the axial direction to reveal cracks and oxides which were investigated. NanoSIMs was used to create deuterium/hydrogen ratio maps whihc revealed hots spots near crack tips at oxides.
