TiO₂/SiOₓ Surface Coating on Crystalline Silicon-Based-Solar Cell Module to Provide Anti-Soiling Functionality
This study describes a coating technology of a SiOₓ layer mixed with TiO₂ particles (TiO₂/SiOₓ), which uses a photocatalytic reaction to reduce the adhesion of organic matter on the cover glass. Low-temperature fabrication conditions were achieved using TiO₂ particles pre-prepared by another method, which is difficult to achieve when depositing the TiO₂ layer directly on the substrate materials. Furthermore, adjusting the number of mixed particles even in SiOₓ obtained a layer with photocatalytic reaction and high visible light transmittance.
