TFPOP 2.0: STOCHASTIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF FLOATING STRUCTURES UNDER WIND, CURRENT, AND SECOND-ORDER WAVE LOADS

Since its release to the sponsors of Reliability of Marine Structures program in 1994, TFPOP has proven to be a useful tool in a number of RMS investigations (Winterstein et al. 1994; Ude, 1994; Winterstein and Kumar, 1995) and has been applied by several program sponsors in their own in house analyses. Much positive feedback has been received and a few minor flaws revealed. The present report, RMS-18, documents a new release (version 2.0) of the TFPOP software and an update to the original TFPOP report, RMS-15. Both the software and the documcnt have undergone some significant changes. Included in the new version of the software are some major additions in terms of capabilities and numerous minor enhancements, almost all of which have been made in response to feedback from the users of the program. This new report contains documentation of all new features, improved discussion of some of the original features, and some added detail on topics that have given rise to questions from the users in the past.
