PREPRINT: A Proposed Timeline for the Crucifixion of Jesus: April 7, 30 AD
This paper argues that Jesus' crucifixion occurred on April 7, 30 AD (Nisan 14, Friday), supported by biblical consistency, Murphey's two Sukkot festivals (28 AD, 29 AD), Daniel's 70-week prophecy (26–27 AD ministry start), and John 19:14's Friday requirement. Intercalation in 33 AD shifts Nisan 14 to April 4, a Saturday, disqualifying it. No other year from 26 to 36 AD has a Preparation Day occurring on Friday. John's ministry (27–29 AD) reconciles with Luke 3:1, and natural phenomena (darkness, earthquake) align with Judea's environment, requiring no astronomical records.
