Research on diffusion characteristics of cutting turbulent dust in fully mechanized working face with large mining height

Taking Sandaogou Coal Mine 85219 fully mechanized coal mining face as an example, the dust migration rules of the front and rear cylinders under the influence of different cutting turbulent wind conditions were numerically simulated, and the effects of downwind and upwind cutting on the diffusion of turbulent dust on the working face were compared. The results show that the increase of the lateral offset speed has a greater effect on the front cylinder during downwind operation. When operating against the wind, the lateral offset velocity has a more significant effect on the front and rear rollers. When cutting coal downwind, the dust concentration of the front drum decreases with the decrease of the vertical height, while the rear drum increases, but the opposite is true when cutting coal upwind. With the increase of cutting turbulent wind, the dust mass concentration of pavement decreases with the increase of diffusion range; the dust produced by the roller after downwind cutting was the main source of dust, the turbulence wind of cutting increased from small to big, and the influencing factors of sidewalk environment changed from front roller to back roller, while the opposite was true for upwind cutting. Compared with the numerical simulation results, the overall error of in-situ dust measurement is less than 20%, and most of the errors are less than 10%.
