Electrospun Shape-Memory\nFluorescent Fibrous Membranes\nfor Dual-Mode Anticounterfeiting and Information Storage Encryption
With the explosive growth of mass data and the increasing\nimportance\nof information security, storage mediums are continuously explored\nto meet different anticounterfeiting and information storage encryption\ncomplex scenario applications. Here, Eu(TTA)3(TPPO)2 is combined with two polymer matrices of polycaprolactone\n(PCL) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to develop a shape-memory\nred fluorescent Eu(TTA)3(TPPO)2/PCL/TPU fibrous\nmembrane with excellent mechanical strength and hydrophobicity using\n facile electrospinning. The Eu(TTA)3(TPPO)2 fibrous membrane can be utilized as an information storage medium;\nas a case study, invisible blue fluorescent printing ink easily purchased\non the market is used as the “ink”, and the information\npatterns are printed on the membrane surface by using a customized\nmold such as QR codes. By utilizing shape-memory function and fluorescence\ncharacteristics of fibrous membranes, the original correct information\ncan be readable only upon heating and illuminating by UV light, realizing\ninformation storage and dual-mode encryption. Meanwhile, a high integration\nof red-blue dual-color fluorescence and shape memory dual-mode anticounterfeiting\nwith shape memory and fluorescence dual-mode encryption is achieved\nto realize concurrent information storage and dual-mode anticounterfeiting\nencryption. This work provides a low-cost, feasible, and effective\nstrategy to develop high tensile strength, information storage, and\nmultiple anticounterfeiting encryption materials with wide applications.
