Adjusting\nthe Structure–Activity Relationship\nof MOFs to Obtain Electrocatalysts with Higher Hydrogen Evolution\nand Urea Oxidation Performance by Introducing Different Linkers

Different structure units in\nthe ligand have significant influences on the phosphating, resulting\nin heterogeneous materials that are not quite the same. Among them,\nheterogeneous materials with Co2P and NiP have the best\ncatalytic performance. We also studied the urea oxidation reaction\n(UOR) properties of the materials and proved that it is feasible to\nimprove the UOR performance of MOF/NF composites by regulating the\nstructure units in the organic linkers. The results provided an idea\nfor the reasonable selection of organic ligands to construct MOFs\nto regulate the electrocatalytic performance.

Abstract

Three kinds of metal–organic frameworks possessing\nanalogous\nstructures were prepared by regulating the structure units of organic\nlinkers. MOF/nickel foam electrocatalysts were formed by in situ hydrothermal\ngrowth of MOFs on a clean supported substrate nickel foam (NF), and\nthe corresponding composites were prepared. We phosphatated them and\nobtained the heterojunction catalyst.
