Highly\nEfficient Blade-Coated 1.67 eV p‑i‑n\nPerovskite Solar Cells Enabled by a Hybrid Self-Assembled Monolayer\nand Surface Passivation

Wide-band-gap perovskite solar cells\n(PSCs) are considered an important\npart of multijunction tandem solar cells and have attracted extensive\nresearch in related fields. For blade-coated inverted wide-band-gap\nPSCs, nonradiative recombination losses in the perovskite/charge transport\nlayer interface are serious. The performance of blade-coated wide-band-gap\nperovskite solar cells has hindered the industrialization of tandem\nsolar cells, especially for two-terminal perovskite/silicon tandem\nsolar cells (TSCs). To reduce these losses as much as possible, the\nchoice of hole transport layers and perovskite films post-treatment\nis extremely important. Herein, we used two strategies: a hybrid self-assembled\nmonolayer as the hole transport layer and surface passivation post-treatment\nto obtain highly efficient and stable PSCs by the blade-coating method.\nThe champion device demonstrated an efficiency of 21.30% for p-i-n\nPSCs, which is one of the highest efficiencies for band gaps above\n1.67 eV among all of the scalable preparation methods employed.
