Synthesis\nand Reactivity of Palladium Complexes Bearing\nPhosphino-Amidinate Ligands: O–H Bond Activation by Metal–Ligand\nCooperation
Phosphine ligands bearing amidine groups were designed\nfor the\nsynthesis of complexes in which a metal center and ligands cooperate.\nSeveral palladium amidinate complexes were synthesized from these\nligands. The reaction of these complexes with various organic molecules\ncontaining an acidic OH group gave the palladium amidine complexes.\nIn the reaction, the O–H bond was activated by metal–ligand\ncooperation (MLC).
