Nickel-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling of Aziridines with\nThioesters toward Atom-Economic Synthesis of β‑Sulfanyl\nAmides
Thioesters\nhave been recognized as a class of powerful bifunctional\nreagents, namely, great donors of acyl and sulfide moieties. However,\nsuch application in value-added synthesis is still very limited to\ndate. Herein, a nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction system of\naziridines with thioesters was developed under redox-neutral and mild\nconditions. This catalytic method provides an atom-economic route\nfor the synthesis of diverse β-sulfanyl amide derivatives with\nwide substrate scope (43 examples), good functional group tolerance,\nand regioselectivity.
