Evaluasi Kualitas Jawaban pada Platform Brainly Berdasarkan Kerangka Information Quality.pdf
The advancement of digital technology has encouraged the widespread use of community-based Q&A platforms such as Brainly as alternative sources of information in education. While these platforms provide accessible and collaborative learning support, they also face serious challenges related to the quality and reliability of user-generated answers. A primary concern is the lack of academic validation and the low credibility of information, which can lead to misunderstanding and the spread of misleading content among students.Previous studies have largely overlooked a structured evaluation of answer quality in such platforms, particularly using comprehensive theoretical frameworks. This study addresses that gap by applying the Information Quality (IQ) framework, which consists of five dimensions: accuracy, relevance, completeness, credibility, and understandability.Quantitative analysis from 30 student respondents in West Java revealed that understandability and accuracy scored the highest, indicating that most answers are easy to comprehend and generally correct. However, credibility and completeness received lower scores, highlighting a lack of reliable references and comprehensive explanations in the provided answers. To address these issues, the study recommends the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, including educational chatbots, auto-detection of unanswered questions, conflicting answer clarification systems, and instant response access via premium or rewarded models. These innovations aim to enhance both the validity and educational value of content on Brainly, contributing to a more reliable, adaptive, and effective digital learning environment.
