Prenylated flavones with potential antiproliferative activities from the stems and leaves of Mycetia hainanensis
A phytochemical study on the stems and leaves of Mycetia hainanensis led to the isolation and identification of a new prenylated flavone, mycehainanone (1), as well as seven known analogs (2 − 8). The chemical structure of 1 was determined using comprehensive spectroscopic analyses and the known compounds were identified by comparison of their spectroscopic data with those reported in the literature. The antiproliferative activities against five human cancer cell lines (JeKo-1, A549, SMMC-7721, SW480, and MCF-7 cell lines) of all isolated prenylated flavones (1 − 8) were evaluated in vitro. Compounds 1 − 8 exhibited notable antiproliferative effects against various human cancer cell lines with IC50 values in range of 0.67 ± 0.02 to 38.92 ± 0.23 μM.
